Taste & experience

Innovative winemaking

We are an organically certified vineyard and winery. Our main principle is respect for nature, we do not use chemicals commonly used in conventional agriculture, our work is mainly based on prevention. We run our entire property organically ( actually biodynamically) and as such it cannot be a monoculture. So you will find with us, in addition to noble vines, an orchard with old varieties of fruit trees and other plants traditionally cultivated in Poland, as well as bees benefiting from their nectar.

Premium class organic wines

Discover

Our wines

Wieliczka Vineyard wines are a category of PREMIUM ORGANIC WINES - they are obtained from the cultivation of noble varieties of vitis vinifera such as riesling, chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, pinot noir, merlot or cabernet sauvignon.

Wieliczka

Vineyard

Wieliczka Vineyard was established in 2013 in the Wieliczka Foothills. The lay of the land, its location on a southern slope and the vineyard being sheltered by a forest to the north allows for the cultivation of more demanding vines. Our merlot cultivation is one of the few northernmost merlot cultivations in the world.

The vineyard is 15 hectares of land where we grow not only vines, but also fruit trees, flax, rapeseed, sunflower, buckwheat, mustard, hemp seed and much more. In addition to wines, we create ciders, apple juices and wine-based cosmetics.

Presents

Our wine varieties

Vine with a white grape variety. It originated in Burgundy, France. It adapts easily to climatic conditions, making it readily grown around the world. Depending on how it is produced, Chardonnay can produce both light and refreshing wine and heavy wine with complex aromas.

An aristocratic white grape variety native to Germany with considerable ripening potential. Riesling is a late-ripening and cold-hardy grape. It is known for its exceptional richness of aromas, which is further shaped by the quality of the ground on which it grows.

A white grape variety that probably originated in Bordeaux. The taste - from distinctly grassy to sweet with notes of exotic fruits, depending on the climate and growing region. Eagerly grown all over the world.

A black grape variety that has been cultivated for so long that it's impossible to figure out where it came from. Some researchers are convinced that it came from Burgundy, others that it was cultivated as early as ancient Rome, and still others that it was planted in ancient Egypt. It is certainly one of the noblest varieties of Vitis vinisfera. And one of the most widely grown in the world. It is used to produce white, rose and red wines, sparkling and still wines, including those suitable for long maturation.

A black grape variety native to the Bordeaux region and a cornerstone of the reputation of the wines there. One of the most widely grown in the world. It can be found on all continents. Medium-early, it is most often used for red wines, less often for rosé wines.

Creators

People behind

The founders of Wieliczka Vineyard: Agnieszka Rousseau, that is, the one who talks to the yeast, and Piotr Jaskóła, that is, the one who insisted that he would establish a vineyard on this very mountain.
