\n\t\tBiodynamics – a way of life\n\t<\/h2>\n\t

Everything depends on the quality of the fruit. Wine is made in the vineyard, not just in the processing plant. And biodynamics is not just an idea of farming, it is our way of life. With a deep respect for nature.<\/p>\n

The biodynamic preparations we use for spraying are not meant to kill anything. Biodynamics is about restoring the balance in the ecosystem and increasing the resilience of the plants we grow.<\/p>\n

\n\t\tHistory\n\t<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\"zab-winnica-wieliczka\"\n\t

Where our vines grow today, thirty thousand years ago mammoths and woolly rhinos ran around. We have evidence of this, if only in the form of the attached photo of a tooth lost by one of the mammoths. In addition, the vineyard borders as many as two archaeological sites, finds from which can be seen in the Wieliczka museum. Already 10,000 years ago, in the vicinity of the sources of the Wilga River, people from the so-called Lendzielska culture from the south established their settlement, who produced, among other things, amphorae and wine was not unfamiliar to them. Whether they cultivated vines here is difficult to say, although we know for sure that later the climate of these parts allowed the cultivation of vineyards, and the latest archaeological research indicates that at the time of Mieszko I vineyards in Malopolska were no novelty.<\/p>\n

In medieval Poland there were not only monastery vineyards, but also town vineyards, court vineyards and even farmsteads. This was the case until the 15th century, when the climate rapidly cooled across Europe. Even in the south of the continent, grapes did not ripen, while in Poland they froze almost completely. Vitis vinifera bushes disappeared from Malopolska for 500 years. They have returned very recently.<\/p>\n
